Botanical Gardens, Malcolm Rd, Poortview AH, Roodepoort, South Africa
About the event
This Botanical Garden was founded in 1982, but has been a popular location for outings since the 1900's. The Garden has been voted the best place to get back to nature in Gauteng for 9 years in a row. But its famed for a breeding pair of majestic Verreaux's Eagles who nest on the cliffs alongside the waterfall.
Join breathwork adventure facilitator Simon on a nature walk up the kloof and hopefully get to see the eagles. After a moderate walk, Simon will guide a calming breathwork experience near the waterfall. For a deeply immersive phonic experience everyone gets headphones. The guided session is about 45 minutes long.
Whether you're curious about breathwork, you're a regular breather, or you're just wanting to get outdoors, this is a great opportunity to join our growing community and explore our beautiful city through the breath. You are welcome to pack a picnic, if you would like to stay after the session and explore the gardens.
